Chapter 8

hotsprings

Yoy had been sitting in the bus wiith everyone talking about your plans for when you got to the hotspring. Towa and you had desided that you ould play a game of ping pong first, then head into the hotspirngs to relax.

It was your first time going to the hotspring with a guy you liked so you were a little nervous. Momiji had warned you the day before that the hotsprings were owned by the Sohma's, but that you shouldn't worry because she hadn't liked the idea of agranged marriges and was all for fighting against them if you ere in love with someone else.

Looking out the windo of the bus you spotted a elegent house designed like one of the old homes in japan ith trees lining the walk way to the main sliding door. As the bs stopped you couldn't help but be stund, the hotsprings was a wonderful place to get aay to for a romantic get away. Turning you thanked the bus driver and headed in were you ere greated by the hostess. She was a strong woman no more then thirty but by the looks she had problems with over reacting. "Welcome, please, LET ME SHOW YOU TO YOUR ROOM!!" She shouted grabbing ahold of Tohru and Towa.

Following being her you ere led to one of the guest rooms. Stepping in you realized you would be sharing a room. Feeling a tap on your shoulder you turned around, "I heard about your marring, I'm happy for you even if it wasn't a marrige of hich you chose. Anyway at master Momiji's reqest * have gave you a room with only three bedrooms is that allright with you girls?"

"That's fine with me."
"Perfectly okay with me to."

"Alright I'll leave youto get unpakedand hatnot here."
"Well I think I'm going to go play agame of ping pong you want to takeme onTowa?"
"You know it howabout we bet, loser has to..." she beganbut finished by whispering inyour ear, "go past second base."
"Alwayswere those kindsof bets, oh ell your on!"

Headed out of the room Towa and you headed don the hall and to the game room. "Don't forget our bet Shiwa."

"No problems here two rounds loose either and you do the bet."
"Just like always."

Its been about an hour and you two had finished up one set and just about done with the second, next one to score won. Surving you hit the ball a little to hard and it missed the bounce causing you to loose.

"I win but I still losed the first round."
"Looks like we both do the bet then, good thing Hitori isn't here."
"Yeah, hey lets go tothe hotsprings there's still time before dinner is ready."

"Alright let's go." You cheered and grabbed what you had brought down with you.



Walking into the girls side of the hotsprings you spotted Togru it looked like she talking to one of the guys on the other side. As you got closer you could here Momiji on the other side singing, "Who's in the forest stolling, the birds and the bees sing Momiji. The frogs in the pond are calling Momiji yes its true. The tree's raise their leaves together, who needs the sun when we've got you." Getting a little closer you culd see something was wrong and then suddenly she fainted.

"Tohru!!!" you called.

"I'll take her in and get her cooled off. Don't worry about it," towa called pulling her out and into the changing room.

"You sure?"
"Yeah, pluse after all this it'll be time to eat dinner."
"Then I'll wait with you."
"You do that and i'll kick your butt."
"Is everthing alright?"
"Oh, Tohru was in the springs and ainted from the heat."
"Well then why don't youtwo go back to your room I'll watch her, dinner shoul be about done."
"Oh, thanks."

"It's no problem go on now." She replied and shooed you off to your room to get ready to eat.



Dinner

Sitting down you couldn't helpbut bedazedat allthe food that was set out for your group, it was amazeing.

"I'll server you girls."
"Thank you Momiji."
Dishing our the rice Momiji handed each of you a bol and told you to dig in. Using your chopsticks you grabbed your peice of meat and began to eat. Everything was almost gone while you were eating your host's came in the room with the chef. "I'm sorry for the intrusion but the chef wanted to pay his respects to the young masters."
"How is everything."
"It's all wonderful."

Suddenly he came dashing over and grabbed ahold of one of the tea's "It's to cold, NO this is unaccusable, I thought I had seen to it that the young masters food was searved with the hot foods hot and cold foods cold!"
"No it's my fault I clearly waited to long to serve the food!"
"Actually it's fine, you see I can't have food to hot." Towa began.

"And I can't have it to cold, It is justright for both of us like this."

"So that's why you dn't eat ice cream!" Tohru added as you finished explaining.

Laughing you took another bite out of the food left on your plate and then stoop up, "well I'm going to hang in the game room want to join me anyone?"

"Kyo hy not play her at ping pong?" Momiji asked.

"Why not, but don't think I'm going to go easy on you just cause your a girl."
"Miss Jenova, would you like to join me for a walk?"

"I would love to Yuki."

"Lets go into the hot springs Tohru!" Momiji smiled up at her.

"Okay."



Walking into the game room you couldn't help but smile, "They did this on perpose so we could be alone."
"Yeah, just for a few minutes is fine with me."
"I have a feeling it's going to be the rest of the night, any way let's get this game started."
"Hey don't forget what I told you."
"No problems there!"

After that was said Kyo served to you, within a blink of an eye you returned his serve and scored the first point.

"Damn Shiwa, that was.... Your good at this!"

"You should see me at 'other' things." You stated hopping that he would catch your drift and ask you to join him tonight, it an't that you didnt want towa laughing at you for not getting anything, but the fact that you wanted to be with kyo more then anything even more then your own life at this moment.

"Shiwa...do...do you want to...to be with me tonight? You can say no if you don't want to.....I just...."

before he could finish you had kissed him so passonatly that he took it as a yes.
